Refer a Patient to an HIV AIDS Clinical Trial

How to Make a Clinical Trials Referral

Why would I refer my patient to the Beth Israel Infectious Diseases/AIDS Clinical Trials Unit?

Referring a patient to a clinical trial is similar to making a referral to any other specialist. Your patients remain under your care and as such, should be scheduled for routine follow-up care as you would otherwise deem fit.

Over the course of the AIDS clinical trial, your patient may receive some sort of an evaluation or treatment, and you can expect laboratory results or other communications on a regular basis. Unlike other types of referrals, these evaluations and treatments are completely free of charge.

Many of your patient's questions are answered on our FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) page.
